Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race

Hi. Quick question. Do these movables need log books? Is the finding and moving of the cache enough to prove they were found? Everyone plays there own way. I don't tend to put log books in them as I won't really get a chance to see who logged it anyway. Others think it is sort of mandatory as geoca...

Re: Munzees!

All is good, got a quick response on my other post :) I made a post in another thread, but found this one so I will ask here too. What is the etiquette on Munzees inside a geocache (my own GC that is, when I finally place my first one!) I'm thinking stuck inside the lid for easy capture :) Be caref...

Re: Something going on with ACT cachers?

Would GCA lose much if the gc.com stats were dropped? Would it extend the life of / reduce the load on the GCA server?

Re: Munzees!

Some munzeers are including the associated qr code with the nfc tag so those with iPhones can cap them as well via scanning.

Colours of Cache Titles?

Why are some of the titles of my caches a bold orange, whilst others are a tepid blue?

Does it mean I am awesome?

GCA Cache Loot

I need some loot in my series of large GCA caches for Perth. Since they won't get many visitors and those that find probably aren't interested in the contents (apart from signing the log), I'm struggling what to put in a cache except for a log book. I'm planning to get some pathtags from the GCA sho...

Re: Munzees!

The latest evolution in the munzee game is to super-saturate areas with munzees (with the rules of the game). That way you can gain the most amount of points in the shortest possible time. As you gain points when someone captures your munzee, there is a tendency once a spot starts getting deployed i...

Re: Munzees!

There has been some updates to the iPhone and the Android app. That has seemed to make it more reliable to cap munzees. Though in some part it is reliant on the quality of the camera phone, whether the munzee is curved and general lighting conditions (having a shadow cast across one part of the munz...

Re: Event stacking

There is no need for event stacking really. gc.com rules state that people are not required to sign the event log. So if you want to 'bump your numbers', just search for events and log a smilie. "An event cache can be logged online if the cacher has attended the event. Event cache owners can reques...
