2 out 5 of my own geocoins have already gone AWOL (PS: One now located)

I also know of another that went AWOL from one of my caches.

Any other comment?

My simple to do list is as follows:

1. Purchase a GPS ( I think it is about time now I've found a few)
2. Geocycle longer distances to find them (even down to the darkside)
3. Clock up 500 by end of March
4. Try to organise at least one good geotrek each month

Difficult to comment without knowing the cache. I do note that the cache notes include photographs of a walkway, is this the path that then went underwater? Have you tried contacting the hider direct to seek advice? E-mails and message board postings are often taken the wrong way by many people. ruz...

If only my kids would come caching. My daughter came a couple of times but the DNF's when I first started did not help.

Then again it is probably not cool to cache with Dad when your 17.

The challenge of being at the one place for an hour looking for something that right in front of your face really gets to you when things like this finally click.

That makes 13 finds by cachers and 8 finds by muggles for "I was dammed".

I think a little maintainence visit to re-hide in a new spot might be necessary for ruzzelz.

All very strange. I'm with Optus and i could not get access to GCA but I was still getting my alerts from GCA- but could not connect to see them.

Why do my number of finds on GCA differ from GC. I seem to have 2 that i have found which are not showing?
