Re: Extreme Geocaching
This topic came up some time ago and I went through all the active caches and tagged the ones which were 5 star D or T with an "extreme" tag and made a public query for both. http://geocaching.com.au/my/query/screen/485 http://geocaching.com.au/my/query/screen/486 Must do vote for these from me Geo...

Re: Spot GPS Messenger
I got one and I use it. http://track.fuzzel.de/ It's a bit more pricey than a PLB but you can actually send ok messages. I have one customised which says "I'm ok but I'll be out longer". - If you only need something for the case of an emergency you're better off with a PLB. - If you want the minds ...

Spot GPS Messenger
Has anyone seen these or used them for geocaching. A friend has one and they look like something each of us should invest in.

Re: Unfilled log books: Is it just me?
I also hate when some clown writes a novel in a small logbook. Ahhh, you youngsters. There was a time when that was normal (and expected) and you were out every 2nd month replacing logbooks. Interesting how the world turns. I call laziness on behalf of the cache owner who doesn't want to maintenanc...

Re: Launching Australia's "OZ MEGA ADVENTURE"
I consider that the organisers have put together a great package for what promises to be a potentially very enjoyable weekend packed with different experiences. =D> I’m not sure why there is a level of concern about the two different event locations as clearly it would appear there is no compulsion ...

Re: Potential NZ MEGA Event 2012 - is there sufficient interest?
The intent of this thread seems to be seeking comments on continued interest for the proposal for a 2012 event. Re-affirming support is NOT a mark of non support for an Australian event on my part. :-k Unfortunately attending two major events in the same year both of which would require some ...

Some pretty good suggestions in the there including the Great Ocean Road, Grampians, and even the Dubbo Zoo. But, not one of all the long list of suggestions is still close .There is no scout camp involved. :D This is no zoo involved. :D But one last clue for all the people still guessing. This uni...
