Sure. A duck is an animal that can fly, so that would pass muster. Hi gang, I received the following in response to an email query: Q. Can I also check whether the name 'Budgie' in a cache title is sufficient for 4. Animal powered flight? A. Budgie would be a little bit a stretch for animal powered...

phpBB is up to 3.0.2 which is probably where we'll go unless someone wants to give up some cash for vBulletin :-) No worries...I'm assuming this bit https://www.vbulletin.com/order/ that says $180 is what you're referring to? Or am I missing something? As a regular user of the forum and stats featu...

Can you really really be sure that isn't what happened at I Can't Stand the Suspense March 30 this year?

(And yes I know it's in bad taste)

For #13 Gymnastics 13 - Find and log a physical cache that has the words floor, beam, ring, bar or vault in the cache name in order to claim this requirement. Does it count if the word ring is within the cache name but not on its own, ie. keyring? They've already knocked me back for the word 'bar' ...

Hi Kim, welcome to a new obsession. First up, I'm more than happy to meet up and go on a few caches with you until you find your feet. Send me a private message if you'd like to, or even if you just want a few tips. Your username is fine if you are happy with it. I logged a few finds with one name t...

Nerdy maths teacher definition coming up: rectangular prism = box-shaped. (i.e., shape comprises six faces all of which are rectangular, and, since squares are a subset of the set of rectangles, square sides are permitted of course) The type of box used by cricketers would perhaps be described as t...

I attended a training course recently. As the 'icebreaker', the course presenter asked us to tell the group our name, position and favourite pasttime. I declared that my favourite pasttime was geocaching, and was very surprised to find another person on the course told me during the morning tea brea...

Yeah, I reckon it needs to be near Sydney or Melbourne as major transport hubs...however I also reckon that a regional centre just outside the city is a better option. As mentioned by Team Piggy, you can get commitment from local organisations without the competing events that might be happening in ...

Re: "Magic Eye" pictures give you a headache?

I know people who just can't 'get' them I'm one of those people and was a bit disheartened when one or two of these were published in the ACT in recent months. Admittedly, they were published by a local cacher renowned for remote placements that I'm unlikely to get to anytime soon, but I was worrie...
