Personally, I don't like the idea of dual-listing. Oops - it's not actually a log, but is in the cache body (I should have read a little more above and below).

Also, substituting with the XML escape sequence worked for my program, but GSAK still has a fit over it, so maybe it would be best to strip the nul character completely.

Just tried updating my offline cache database with a freshly downloaded gca.gpx (BTW, I love that GCA provides this feature), and started seeing weird errors about invalid characters.
