Ok, I saw this thread a bit late, but still it surprizes me that nobody mentioned the Garmin iQue palm/GPS yet.. Check it out, looks pretty sweet.. got this close to buying one.. btw have to check out that geoclipping... ps. for people who are interested in a low budget palm, check out the new tungs...

the chase and the find are the essence of geocaching, not the swapping of goods. That just makes it more fun.......... Heard of them... I believe they are about to launch a palm OS app. for GPS mapping...

I use an eTrex which I bought pretty cheap in the US (got to love the strong aussie $ )

Before that I borrowed my managers GPSII+ with external antena..
