Ok, I saw this thread a bit late, but still it surprizes me that nobody mentioned the Garmin iQue palm/GPS yet.. Check it out, looks pretty sweet.. got this close to buying one.. btw have to check out that geoclipping... ps. for people who are interested in a low budget palm, check out the new tungs...

I use an eTrex which I bought pretty cheap in the US (got to love the strong aussie $ :) )

Before that I borrowed my managers GPSII+ with external antena..

Almost bought the Garmin iQue palm/GPS unit...
