To get a GPSr to work under water all you need is a external antenna on a float.

Submarines use them they just dead reakon based on course and speed until they pop a buoy or periscope up

Is there a way of hacking them to turn the proximity alert off or down and does anyone have the Manual...I lost mine. :?
