Re: I saw this trig from Trunkey Rd

Three Brothers trig is not on the GA map then. I also checked archived, and it doesn't appear there either. I wonder why? Anyway, I could publish the trig. Later though. I am about to go out caching. Waiting on a couple of fellow geocachers to arrive. Probably not on GCA because it is on private pr...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

I got a surprise yesterday to see I'd earned a new dZ trophy: Abel Tasman Awarded: Fri-01-Sep-17 Circumnavigate the Earth twice. The last GCA cache we logged was on the 20th August, and was a moveable not far from our home location. I am wondering if it's normal for the trophy to take so long to sh...

Re: Loading Trig Points into Garmin 650

I have an Oregon 600, so we're close enough. I do not see benchmark in my filter list but I do see TPs. HOWEVER ... If I use any filter (evven if I just turn traditional off and the on again) then I LOSE ALL TPs until I go into "Apply a Saved Filter" and use the "Show All" saved filter. That proper...

Re: Loading Trig Points into Garmin 650

Copy the GPX file directly to your GPS and see if that works for TPs. If so, then it's a GSAK setting. That doesn't work for me on either 5.0 or the newer 5.1 firmware that I just loaded. (Also testing last night I couldn't load them via GSAK by any method.) I have had trigs in the past on the GPS ...

Re: Alternative Co-ordinates

3. What is the GPX file construct using the Groundspeak namespace that we can use to provide dual sets of co-ordinates? This is likely to be a technical limitation as there is no element for that use. However, if you have an alternative that we can't see, please let us know. GPX files from Groundsp...

Re: Christmas in July Game

Looking at the ladder there is a claim of 30 and a few of 27. Is this some bug in the code?

Congratulations to all those that competed.

Re: Garmin 600T - Unable to load geocaches

I haven't had to do it with W10 yet but all the previous versions I have used of windows did have this problem at times. It was nearly always with the GPS but occasionally it occurred with my USB backup drive as well. Windows sometimes holds the corrupted USB connections information even after reins...

Re: Puzzle Solving Resources

The outer ring (C ??) of the these puzzles are all 'ENIGMA' cipher puzzles with the first one (C 01) being the most tedious but once solved will provide the settings page that is used for all the rest of the ring. There are various twists on the rest just to keep them up at D5 so extra points were g...

Re: Trigs GPX file problems

That was it.... Thanks very much CraigRat.... I didn't have a filter active, as I always want to see all caches, but went into the filter settings and hit "Show All" - now they appear, but as that weird little chest symbol that Garmin use. The last time I had to delve into the filter was when cache...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

With the new DZ display I found something strange. The zone East Pilbara (S) shows dual control but both controlling clans shown in the popup are Griffin. As far as I can see there is only 1 cache of the 183 in the zone controlled by Griffin with the rest yet to be found or found by cachers who do n...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

I wasn't thinking and put a name search in the 'log a cache' box and got the following message. Unknown/unlisted cache Sorry, this cache is unknown or unlisted. To search for a cache, use the search box in the top right hand corner. As there is now not a search box in the top right hand corner but a...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

I was just looking at my trophies and noticed that although I have a Bronze trophy for hiding a single night cache as part of the scavenger game the silver count is at 10 instead of the 9 I was expecting. Is this a fault in the counting for this particular trophy or something else I'm not seeing. 10...
