Re: GeosportZ 2012 - Questions and Clarifications

Re: Would you like to be a Google StreetWalker?

Why bother going outside, if you can get some other poor bugger to do it and you sit at home and do it virtually? I don't really see a reason or purpose for it other than one-upmanship.

Re: Collective noun for a group of cachers

Multi and confluence I like.

I know we call a group of geocaches with machetes a 'slash'. Came up on our last hike up a lantana covered mountain.

Re: The other kind of 'find'.

There is a cache in D'Aguilar Forest up here, just west of Brisbane (several actually, but one in particular). Some months ago a group of cachers went for the 4 hour round hike and upon return to the car, one noticed his phone was missing. Knowing he'd dropped it, doubled back to look but it was nev...

They're free from BPA, so a tick from me.

As for paint, the $3 a can pressure packs work a treat for me.

It's not the finder's fault that the hider stuffed up. There was a published cache and it was found. That's a smiley without doubt.

There's a stunner of an idea.
But if you feel the need to put a pen in, keep it the heck out of the baggy. Having said that, make sure the container is waterproof instead.

Milestone Ministro!

I saw this one come up and couldn't help but shout it out. Although he may not know it, in Brisbane (and I imagine most of our state) there is great support and appreciation for our reviewer. So a big congratulations to Ministro for publishing his 1000th cache and a job well done so far. Here's to m...
