Re: A little perspective on the state of caches...
Some idle thoughts for a Friday morning, from an equally idle person. ..... I’m also learning to reframe my own approach to this. This week I did a cache by a new cacher locally. Even before I got there, due to its description and some other stuff, I knew it would be a pretty ordinary micro. And it...

When out caching and if we stop for a nearby coffee / something to eat I like to comment on how good (or otherwise) it was.

Re: iPhone Groundspeak App - latest problem
I'm not sure why but sometimes the Geocaching app opens and other times it doesn't. Maybe it's something to do with what page in the Geocaching app your were in when you closed it last. Try making sure you are on the opening page (ie Search for Geocaches) and see if that works. Nope - does not work...

Re: Movables - possible code change request
I only download caches to my GPS that I have not found - Once I have found a moveable, I would happily find it again if it moves back close enough to me but I have to be careful as they become excluded by my filter. If found (by me) and then moved (by someone other than me) - mark as unfound (except...

Re: How to load GPX on Oregon
You can use GSAK (gsak.net.au) - it can send caches directly to the O450.

Re: Garmin Adds Multicache Support in Latest Beta
Uploaded it my Oregon 300 and used it all yesterday - and all ok I like the filter feature that enables you to filter your caches on the fly. The multi "next stage" feature works but I would like to see it expanded. I would like to see a change to the "active cache" (/Next stage) that still allows t...

Re: Dual Cache Listing on GCA and GC.
New one of these dual listings popped up today: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC2CQXW I'd just found it yesterday - Wondered for a second whether to log it again just to get it off my radar, but hit the ignore list again. Yes, a dilemma for us too. I don't want to log it, sin...

Re: New to the game
The only other thing with both bugs and coins is that you need to log them as well. On the bug you collected there is a tracking number - with that number goto http://www.geocaching.com/track/ Enter the tracking number goto to "Add a log entry" and "Retrive from cache XYZ" (you will need to enter th...

You're watching Masterchef and think that: a) That's a waste of two perfectly good ammo cans b) The cammo on them is awful. Our thoughts exactly - and then putting a hole in the top just ruined it forever! Glad I wasn't the only one thinking this. I'd love to get my hands on affordable ammo cans. Y...
