Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open

The western side of Melbourne is completely cleaned out of frogs. It looks like you eastern suburbs teams have raided them all without bringing any over. LOL Ian & Sandra Team Ladava Double-check your data, Ian and Sandra... there are quite a few in the west. A couple near the airport, two in Yarra...

Re: Bicycle racks for tow-ball ?

I've got one designed for hatchbacks and wagons. It has a hinged arrangement, which allows you to fold it down so that you can access the rear hatch door without having to remove the rack from the tow bar. Well worth the extra few bucks for the convenience.

No. I had to use the "no finds overseas, so you can move it back" rule.

Re: Hotel Room Caching ?

Haha! Yes, I remember now. The main reason I chose to hide the moveable there was that I was scared off all of the possible outdoor places due to security cameras everywhere! And, I was also worried that it might get muggled in a strange city... that wouldn't be fair for GabGab. It was strangely sat...

Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open

For some reason, http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3724 has been archived. I have just hidden him at DFO, so he's the 15th that's not showing on the map. Don't miss him if you are heading out that way on a frog recovery mission!

Re: Frog Blindness Support Group

Hey pwags, if you visit my home town you can grab another 5 frogs ..... glad to see your back. Hmmm... very tempting! I must admit, it was very difficult for me last week. I was over in Perth, so wasn't able to head out for a midnight frog-napping run. I did check the site at 9pm (Perth time) when ...

Re: Frog Blindness Support Group

I've just been signing the logbooks - your name appears in them all, c@w!

I have to say, that was the easiest and quickest ten smileys I've ever got. Ten caches in only two locations.

I'm considering a frog power trail, or maybe something else?

Yes, I'm definitely keen to be involved again. The last event was a heap of fun, and I particularly enjoyed the chance to hide some of them last time. Count me in!

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Do I now get a lifetime pension and free public transport?

Congratulations Dianne, but keep looking over your shoulder, I'll be grabbing those robes back sometime soon! \:D/

Re: Become a Mayor of a locale

How easily can we check our "mayoral potential" in other locations? Not sure this will work as you expect, but if you check your Mayoralty page, you can see the locales where you are approaching the minimum number. If you are over the minimum number (10) and you still don't have the Mayoralty, then...

They must - I guess that's how I managed to get my mayoral status, as there are plenty of them in Melbourne's CBD, and not many other GCA caches there.

I can always move "MetroGnome" into that locality if you want another GCA challenge?

Re: Become a Mayor of a locale

Hi. Just found mayoralties on the stats page. Can't find any reference in the wiki. Mayoralities are based on the concept from FourSquare. If you are the cacher with the most GCA finds for a locale/state/country combination and that count is >= 10, then you are declared the mayor of that locale. If...
