Re: DNF on muggled caches
Just a little off topic. Cachers who don't post dnfs (and there are a few pretty prominent teams who don't) are a blight on the community. There have been several instances where I've posted a dnf for a cache, waited and watched for a while until the owner visited it, found it to be missing and repl...

Re: Mobile Site browser testing, please help
Ditto, & if it makes any difference it is Symbian s60v5 with the default browser on the n97 (not the n97 mini).tatty wrote:Nokia N97 also gives an alert that Geolocation is not supported.
But thanks for the chance to finally try out the new barcode reader so not a total loss.

Re: Centenary of Duigan Flight
So just 4 months later a bunch of farmers knock up an airoplane in their shed and say - gee I wonder if it will work  Because that's what farmers do in sheds isn't it? :-$ I remember a time in our cousin's shed we managed to put a V8 engine in the local scout dingy. It wasn't an over all suc...

Re: 917 Finds... In 24 hours. What the?!
But if he did it with a team, what is to stop each of the team having an identical stamp and caching the trail individually?
That way if for instance there are three in his team they each might have done only a third of the 917 caches. That means about 306 caches each person might have visited?

Re: Beat speeding fines with GPS
The weird thing we have found is when going through those fixed spots that tell you your speed, we have found our GPSr and car speedo to be in agreement and the camera to be out by 8km/h every time i.e if we are doing 100 according to GPSr & car, the fixed cameras tell us 92. Just another plot to ge...

Re: Tell us about your motorbike caching !
Been caching by bike for a couple of years but not exclusively by bike. I still prefer to wind up windows when the rain starts. I ride a Suzuki DL650 (Vstrom) with a Garmin 60csx held in a genuine bike mount. There is no vibration using the mount but the screen is a bit hard to read in sunlig...

The powertank does everthing the space pen does (they are both pressurised) and at a lot less money it's a no brainer.covert wrote:I have powertank. I just called it a Gel pen because that is all I know it as. Space pen has that something extra you don't get from a plastic pen.

We use a mirror all the time.
Great for those caches you can't see under without being obvious, sure saves those nasty finger surprises too.
