Re: "Commercial" events?
I had to remove from a cache listing that it was possible to get a coffee from the nearby shops, as I was told that was commercial. It wasn't just one cafe, but several, so I wasn't plugging a business, but still I couldn't mention this. I like to know where I can take a break when caching and get ...

Re: We're baaaaack. TAS, VIC
Hi Louise, Thanks for the reply. I already noticed the Pacman caches (we like Whereigo's). Of course we're not coming over to cache but to see see stuff, caching is the sideactivity and so long multi's are out of the question. Geelong is our last stop before going back home so we might have a little...

Re: How many people still visit the forums
Looks it's the same everywhere. I still visit forums (our local Belgian one and one in the Netherlands) but the Belgian one only has occasional posts. People are visiting and reading but few are posting. Many are on FB (I'm not) and groups there can't be counted anymore (I've heard). Too bad, as a f...

We're baaaaack. TAS, VIC
Hi, We'll be visiting down under again in October/November. Point of entry will be Melbourne but we we'll ferry to TAS after two days for a 17 day tour of the island. Basically, we'll be visiting most of the area except the most northeastern tip (NE of the line Bicheno - Devonport) and the SW part w...

Re: Photos in cache logs, how far do you go?
Easy... by finding the cache and logging it (and reading the other logs)pprass wrote:BTW - how the heck did you come across that log?
The cache is close to the A-bomb dome in Hiroshima and thus an easy find (if you're a tourist)

Re: Photos in cache logs, how far do you go?
Some people even post pictures when they DNF. The problem with this http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx ... fe05decb4c log is that they shouldn't have logged a DNF.
Take a good look at the picture. For those not seeing it I'll post a hint later

So how may Belgians can say they have found a Geocaching Australia cache? You. What's it good for? Well, same as most caches I reckon - it's showing people a great spot :) Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the location and if you come back to Aus for another trip, be sure to check out this site for any other caches that might be near your route. You can download them to your gps too...

What's it good for?
Hi, After visiting WA and NT my stats went up ... good... :D We made a tour from Perth to Exmouth and stayed in the Alice/Uluru area for a week before going back to Belgium. Apart from the tourist stuff we picked up caches time permitting as it was not the main purpose of our trip. I tried to promot...

Re: How far would YOU travel for a FTF?
While not exactly a special trip for a FTF, my first (and only) FTF was [urlhttp://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=bb0a9575-23d8-4dec-9450-c00e36de6a7d&log=y] GC1WCD7 [/url]. It was published July 25th 2009 and I got it on the 29th 9360.5Km from home. When you want a FTF in Belgium y...
