After catching hundreds of pidgey, rattata and zubat (among others), nothing :-( Exactly my experience. It's made me try and catch the blighters I normally ignore thus running down my pokeball supply. My usual ignore list: Ekans, Gastly, Goldeen, Pinsir, Zubat, Golbat, Staryu, Kangaskhan, Clefairy ...

I'm not sure what use ammo cans are other than for long lasting geocaches but I'm sure there are uses out there. A couple of months ago one of my ammo cans in the bush not that far from suburbia went missing. Interestingly the culprit left the log book and items in a ziplock bag in the hiding place....

I was at a conference at Seaworld at the Gold Coast this week. If you want Magnemites and Voltorbs they are like Pidgeys and Zubats there. It was nice to see so many different Pokemon up there. Back to the dross here now. Did get an Omanyte at last.

Anyone close to a full Pokedex yet? I mean excluding the 'legendaries' and the geographically locked Pokemons.

Got about 108 (with a few to evolve). See way too many supposedly rare critters and almost never see some of the supposedly common ones.
