Re: DNF on muggled caches
I'd leave it as a DNF. I like look at an offline cache to see the history that led to its status... E.g. DNF, DNF, DNF, Offline, Archived, or DNF, DNF, Offline, Online. It's a bit like Schrödinger's cat ... While you were searching for it the cache was in a superposition of muggled and not muggled....

Re: [OT] Look after penguins!
As a Veterinary Surgeon, a past president of the RSPCA, a member of multiple ethics committees and a consultant to the NPWS as well as a member of a NPWS advisory committee, I KNOW it was media sensationalism. While sad, these things are not always avoidable. Well that's an independent point of vie...

Re: [OT] Look after penguins!
Not sure that that is fair! They lose that many a week when the penguins hang themselves in the grass that they were trying to get rid of. Just media sensationalism - again. Another one who has missed the point completely :? Habitat management needs to consider the inhabitants of it. The failure is...

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs
It seems that I can't import my attended log for the mega event . Another of my logs didn't come through when I imported them from GSAK too, but I have yet to work out which one

Re: Camping at Wagga
As I type this, we are staying at the Wagga Wagga Beach Caravan Park -we have stayed on after Oz Mega. The facilities are excellent, the location is excellent - both for ease of access, caches and closeness to Wagga CBD/shops etc - easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again, possibly...

Re: Archiving caches in National Parks
The note was for a temorary disable. No need for this as access has been re-enabled. I thought that these caches fell under the "Grandfathered" banner. I must also say that I was initially a bit offended by your sarcasm and veiled threat. Lucky I'm Thick-Skinned so I'm over it already. Back OT. Are...

Re: GCA listings of caches in areas where geocaching is banned
I have had a cache removed by a NPWS ranger after it was pointed out by a member of Geocaching NSW inc. I think you have the wrong end of the stick here. I am totally unaware of anyone from Geocaching NSW pointing out anyone's caches for removal. I do know of one instance of NSW NPWS contacting Geo...

Re: GCA listings of caches in areas where geocaching is banned
And let's face it, national parks position is not a new thing. We all used to hide, find and enjoy caching in these environs until people started to raise the issue of whether it was legitimate and now we are where we are I do not however advocate removing existing caches until and unless they are ...

Absolutely no need to apologise, I can't thank you enough for the hard work you and the rest of the crew put in to this site. I was just pointing it out in case you had missed it.

Mega Event not listed on NSW Cache Update email
Was it just me, or is the fact that OZ Mega Wagga Wagga is now a Mega event it doesn't show up in the list of coming events? I did note further down the list in changed caches it had gone from E to Y.
