Re: A event for Introverts!
Hey Basil, this cacher got a fair bit of flak because he tried the same thing without telling people.

Any chance that this is going to be resurrected? Perhaps on a once a month update basis if it's too heavy on the servers?

You are talking about beaches right?Zalgariath wrote:(Some where pants are optinal... ). While most are small they are still used as swimming/sand/play beaches like any other.

Re: GeosportZ 2012 - Questions and Clarifications
If you have any queries about whether a geocache is suitable, contact the games administrators prior to logging the find. The games administrators will try to finds way to say yes to a requirement rather than say no, so lateral thinking is encouraged, but please, when in doubt contact a games admin...

Waist deep in water in Canberra in June/July - the spheroids on the simians made from zinc and copper are doomed.
Is it okay to do decathlon and heptathlon on consecutive days? So if I got 9 on day one and 8 on day 2 (or vice versa) I could claim both?

Re: Recording final co-ords for multis to use on maps
I believe this can be done in GSAK using a Google Maps macro but I'd need to test it...
Probably not for placement proximity however.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Not sure if this is an issue or not - and if it is an issue it's an extremely minor one. It's niggled at me for years but finally got bored enough to ask. GCA - Most consecutive days without a find 40 (27-Nov-07 - 06-Jan-08) GC - Longest Slump 39 consecutive days without a find from 28/Nov/2007 to 0...

Unless you say (like you just did) that a cache was hidden with a Smartphone I'm not sure anybody would be any the wiser. I've seen (and been responsible for) some pretty ordinary co-ords using a GPSr :? . What would really interest me is if you could hook up (figuratively) with another cacher in th...

Re: Most DNFs in One Day
I log all my DNF's  This is why you are my idol. I too try to log them all but still end up logging a few retrospectively from the early "I'm too embarrassed to log a DNF" days. I did do 7 DNF in a row in Wollongong on really easy ones (just ask Sol, Fitzy and ZZ7 who helped me clean them ...
