Re: UHF or VHF

Hi Richard UHF is your car radio, and VHF is the equivalent marine radio. GME is Australian made and seems to be a reliable, reputable brand - we have had no trouble with it. Uniden is an imported item which we have not heard any bad things about and Icom is another brand which has had some good rev...

Re: Can you spot the cacher?

Re: Launching Australia's First Ever Mega Event-Wagga Wagga 2010

Thanks for the clarification - we must have misunderstood the information appearing in previous threads seeking expressions of interest in attending. It would have been good to see all your hard work rewarded by seeing the event listed each week in the Groundspeak notification. :x Congratulat...

Re: Launching Australia's First Ever Mega Event-Wagga Wagga 2010

Just curious, given that some of the mega events appearing in the latest notification have fewer than 100 will attends but the Oz Mega Wagga Wagga event currently has 225.

Re: Launching Australia's First Ever Mega Event-Wagga Wagga 2010

When will the event be upgraded to Mega status and appear in the weekly notification from Groundspeak? Do you have to wait for 500 people to actually register to attend?

Re: 2009 Cyber Flash Mob Topic “Positive Caching Experience”

We get a positive caching experience when we are taken to new places which are picturesque and quiet - makes us feel good being alive and well.

We were frustr...

Various cache find levels have different verbiage. 100 just happens to be tracks walked. We hope this verbiage doesn't change because we prefer to refer to the tracks walked than to how many caches we have found. Many of the tracks are far more interesting than the majority of caches. We have purpo...
