It looks like the 900 model may be released in the next couple of months: 8.9" screen and up to 12GB SD drive. The price will be up there with the bottom end laptops though.

Actually, it's the 3-way light-socket adapter that's back, not the charger.

This can be a problem anywhere.
I do find the street maps are well-aligned in the city, just the photos are wrong, so I usually bring up the hybrid image to see how well the streets align with the photos and compensate accordingly.

Olympus 1030SW

This camera has to be up there as an essential accessory: waterproof to 10m, droppable from 2m, 10Mpx, 28mm equivalent wide-angle compact point-and-shoot.

A pity they stick with the xD memory format.

Link: Olympus 1030SW

These people have it for under $500

Caches by Hidden Date Range Yes, this is sure to reduce the load on the gc.com servers, as people will not have to run repeated test queries. Of course, gc.com will still have the overhead of running 5 queries selected by state and date, instead of 1 query selected only by state, but that's their p...

My most memorable is a fairly recent* one, GC12APC, Godfrey has landed. This cache involved a 10km round trip in kayaks along the Coorong from the mouth of the Murray River. It was just me and Mrs Uni, on a calm, warm morning, in a very peaceful and beautiful area. It doesn't get any better than tha...

To answer my own question, there is now a message on Evince site saying they're down for an upgrade.

I suppose if it doesn't work, they'll be up for a downgrade :)

Evince / humanverify broken

The humanverify.com captcha used by Evince coordinate verification seems to be broken. Has anyone heard anything about this? The whole humanverify.com site seems to be down.

New record: slowest 1000

When I hit my 1000th cache last month, I thought I was in the running for the longest time from 1st to 1000th find, but a bit more research indicates at the time I was still probably the 3rd slowest. Now there's a newcomer on the block (oldcomer?), alex. The top four slowest 1000 are, I think: alex ...

Then they loaded their Jeep Cherokee to drive off the mountain.
How odd, that they should name the type of car, or do Jeep have some affiliation with the paper?
