Re: Can I download cache locations straight to my Nuvi 1390?
I have downloaded 24000+ caches (GC & GCA) without too many problems, just takes a bit of time. Generally though I stick to my home state. I haven't ventured into the new program written by jjreds as I only have the one database on GSAK & use Filters to define the caches I'm interested in.

Re: Can I download cache locations straight to my Nuvi 1390?
I download (via GSAK) caches to my wide screen NUVI using a program written by PilotSnipes. The web address is http://geocaching.totaltechworld.com/index.html This program has now been superseded (see support/FAQ) however it still works fine. I can download all the caches I'm interested in for Austr...

Re: Sat-nav devices face big errors as solar activity rises
I recently used a Topographical map to locate the approximate GZ for a multi (Us & Them). Couldn't locate the initial way point so bypassed that & walked to a point that had the features mentioned in the description. Took a reading & after receiving an email from the owner, went & found WP1. My topo...

Re: Something New
Locationless caches count as well. I particularly like these as in many country areas there are no or very few physical containers.

Re: what's up with this
It has been NSW NPWS (DECC) Policy since October 2002 not to allow geocaching in National Parks & reserves.Their policy is clear "Geocaching is an adventure game based on a 'treasure hunt' theme where participants in one party use a handheld GPS device to search for sealed caches left by other parti...

Donations to GCA
I am about to renew my GC membership & would like to donate the equivalent Australian dollar amount to GCA. Have searched the Wiki using "donate, donation & contribution" to no effect. How do I achieve this? Thanks for an excellent web site & a much more interesting variety of 'caches' to search for.

Re: Creating a hyperlink using normal HTML
I was going to ask where it was but "discovered" it - then I deleted the link & re-added it & it certainly has been designed for technophobes such as myself. Thanks very much - I'll let you both in for free!

Re: Creating a hyperlink using normal HTML
Thanks MM but as you can see I'm no further ahead. Do I have to do something other than saving the changes to activate the code?
These instructions presuppose the reader has some idea of what to do, which is certainly not the case with me.

Creating a hyperlink using normal HTML
On the 28 November 2008 Super-T produced an instruction on how to create a hyperlink to another cache. It was noted at the time that this was for GC Caches & that for GCA, one should use Normal HTML. What is Normal HTML? This is a rhetorical question really as I have no interest in the intricacies o...

Unarchiving of a Trig Point
Re: TP5031 I read the Wiki & then attempted to restore the Trig but can't see any Unarchive button. Given recent discussions about Trigs on private property this one appears to fit the bill for restoration. You can never have enough Trigs! Could it be restored please by someone with the "power". Tha...
