Re: Munzees!
Things I learned about the Offline Capture Beta: -Load Munzees before leaving the wifi hotspot. It's fun finding Munzees when you don't know where they are! (I had a great laugh about this.) -When they say make sure the dot is green, they aren't kidding. The one I did find offline errored out on me ...

Re: and one more makes 10,000
Is my maths out to lunch? Trigs counter is to 6647(ish) and caches at 4425(ish). I think that's a couple more than 10k, unless some #'s were skipped/archived, or zapped into nothingness? Or has someone slipped that graph a few shots of vodka?

Re: How to identify a Cacher?......
I'm easy to identify these days - Tiger-monkey is shouting TREASURE! when we are looking for caches. THE GPSr on the pram was a dead giveaway for a while. :D I was stopped at traffic lights near one caches GZ, where a couple were quite obvious about looking and trying to not be obvious about it. I r...

Re: Forgotten to log caches.
Not at all alone! I had a cache owner contact me to tell me I'd forgotten to log his cache. I think it was about a year and a half later? I'm horrid for forgetting to log caches, I've others that were near that late logging, hehe. Even now that I have a smartphone with a spanky application, I still ...

Daily Email Request
Is it possible to have the email not be sent if there are no caches nearby? I keep getting empty emails and would love to have a 'only email me if content' option to click.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
It's been working intermittently for me for quite some time - right now it's throwing up the not working error. [edit to add] Unable to load the page by any other means and http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/geocreed.info reports up. [edit2] clicked on link on the downforeveryone page and it loa...

Re: Groundspeak "listing-service exclusivity on Mega-Events"
But how about we wait for Big Matt's feedback from them about whether allowing discussion here would jeapordise an event's status. I don't see how informal DISCUSSION by members could cause issue. I don't know why anyone's approaching GC about it, it's nothing to do with GC or even the organisers. ...

Re: Groundspeak "listing-service exclusivity on Mega-Events"
Oi. That new rule reads more like a threat by a 4 year old having a tantrum than a rule that has been thought out for potential repercussions. I think GC.com needs to make a distinction between listing services that are not for profit (and registered as such in their appropriate country/state) and t...

Re: April 1st
That was a brilliant April Fools, having it randomly show made it really seem like a back end code escape. :) Caught a few people with my Pico Caches (1/1000the the size of a Nano!) with a picture of a butterfly for the 'product'. It was great how many people played along, totally made a s...
