Re: Cachers who refuses to sign the log book

He also threatened to refer me to the police. I would really love to know how this would work out in real life.. "Hello, police? Someone's asking me why i didnt sign a notepad inside a container, out in Namadgi! Hello? Where did you go? Did you hang up on me? Oh man" Too funny! =D> =D> Seems like t...

Re: Cachers who refuses to sign the log book

YES. I haven't mentioned specifics or details, but his &&%*%&* response to me included terms, words, mentions of very very specific long gone things that only Panic! would know., AND, those same terms were in the cache listing by him.

Re: Cachers who refuses to sign the log book

I too got the same did not sign log from the same person Noikmeister & Agent Basil did. I too got the *^&*%&*%^&* reply, and subsequent &*&*% (& police) reply. But, in amongst the *^&*^^ and *(*(^& he said something about the cache vicinity that tweaked my memory. Firstly, the cache is a difficult N...

Excellent humourous article on Geocaching by writer

Epiphany22, has written an excellent, well researched & humourous article.

Macquarie eJournal. (look under the heading ‘Non-fiction’, and then "21st Century Treasure Hunt" stone).

This is the journal for students at Macquarie University undertaking the writing capstone unit.

Re: Cache/puzzle spoilers

And for a different take: Agree with Norkmeister originally, OK with group solving* etc etc etc. As holder of several puzzles in the ACT, I have seen the solution technique to two of my puzzles published in these forums, by a reviewer no less! But before you jump the gun and complain, ask who, or de...

Re: NZ MEGA 2012 - an update

With this less than a year away now, could you (Moneydork) request the GCA faeries (Admin people and/or moderators) make this post a "Sticky" so it is always near the top and everyone can see updates quickly.

Am intending to attend with MtnLioness. I have been here before, will be good to return.

Re: Relocating a cache and publishing new coordinates

I once relocated one of mine in 3 steps, at the same time, all 150m each. It was way way out in the bush, I'm sure something alerted the ump that I was "circumventing" the 161m, but it was merely to relocate the puzzle icon in the bush to stop it overlapping/obscuring a traditional cache icon. (I me...

.....It's not that I can't afford the $30 it's that I don't feel like paying groundspeak for the rubbish job that they do .........Assuming all serious cachers are PM only is an assumption that I'm not 100% sure is correct either... :-k Sure, GS do some absolute rubbish and get a lot of cachers off...

It is probably just me. We have these particular puzzles that require research of old logs around here, so I doubt anyone else will care much. Interesting to know why it is there. Thanks. and ... Reason: X.... Not just you, all the ACT puzzle solvers too. Reason - Particular ACT caches. The "ACT x,...

Re: Voting at GC Forum -- Counting Challenges as Finds

And the cache counts are back too. And the avatars work again. It's almost back the way it was originally plus avatars. Yay!! Thank goodness! And I don't even mind the Avatars now that they are smaller. Makes it easier to find a particular cacher's logs. But this whole exercise makes it pretty clea...
