It would be nice to have a number for a central, 24-hour, geocacher-locater. One number that could be shared around a number of people. Then again, maybe a geo-buddy system would be sufficient? Leave an itinerary with a relative or online, as suggested by Geodes, plus phone numbers of two or three g...

Finally checked my 60 csx. The firmware is version 3.60, which I upgraded to a few months ago. That may explain why the arrow hasn't done the disappearing thing since.

Too hot for caching for me. At the rate the garden's dying, I'll have some great wood to use for cache camouflage soon. :(

It's a long way off, but at this stage put me down for 2; definitely no camping.

Are there many motels or b & b's around the area?

My daughter just made Gibbo003's 5 minute chocolate cake - it's fantastic! She's drowning it in cream as I type. Mmmmm. For the record, she mixed and cooked it in a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup, used self raising flour and the cake rose beautifully to the top of the cup. Thanks for the awesome recipe, ...

Hi Samuel, and welcome. I've never heard of designer board games - very interesting. I'm a career housewife and when I can escape from home and family, I love to read, walk, listen to podcasts, garden, sew, bike ride (slowly!), and waste time on the web. I also enjoy re-finishing old furniture, trav...

Don't suppose anyone signed the log with Took keyring, Left tampon?

I think it's a pretty unappealing item to leave. Perhaps it was left by a muggle who thought it would be hilarious?

I use Cacheberry on my Blackberry - keeps all cache info to hand, including hints and 5 most recent logs. Logs can be written in the field. The menu for each cache has a link to both Google Maps and Blackberry Maps. I've never used either of them so can't tell you how they work but you should be abl...

My gorgeous eldest son mobilized his siblings and the reluctant spouse to buy me a fab gift, so I'm now the delighted owner of a 10" Eee pc running XP. Eldest son chose that size and the hard drive version as it had more space - 160gb, which he thought would suit my needs. I love it. It's sturdy, st...
