I should also mention, this was not with some random parks ranger, this was with 2 of the actual policy advisory staff. Darren will post more.

Re: Geocaching in National Parks Info Needed

NSW NP's amungst other things, consider caches to be litter, as it is something that has been left behind. Spindoc Bob, RAGS and I spent a morning recently with NP's showing them a bit more about caching, it was an interesting exchange thats for sure. I am sure Spindoc will post something more about...

Re: Geocaching mentioned on the ABC

Actually, the radio hosts on the indiginous radio station at Lightning Ridge were a hoot, they sounded so bored with what they were doing! I mean, we missed listening to them after we left cause it was just so dry and funny (To us).

Re: Webby is doing a reverse MOVEMBER

OK, so I have shaved it all off, posted the before and after pics and scared the crap out of both the kids, and myself! So far I have raised over $600 and it would be great if I could continue to get that figure to go up and up. Visit my Movember page, have a laugh and make a donation, it's tax dedu...

Webby is doing a reverse MOVEMBER

OK. I have decided that as it's for a really good cause, I am participating in Movember, but, I'm doing it in reverse. I have had a Mo and Goatie or variations of for over 20 years, and I figure if I am going to shave it all off, thats gotta be worth something! http://au.movember.com/mospace/197851/...

Oziexplorer updates

Man, I just got so used to there being no Oziexplorer updates for PC I just have not bothered to go look. Last night while updating the laptop before we head off, I checked and was running an older version than on my desktop, I go visit the site and huh, am I reading that wrong? An update, no, multi...

Re: dog poo

Quite some time ago, I was looking for poo, ebay was a good start, the average fake dog poo looks nothing like dog poo. Found a guy in the states, he makes props for movies and was making and selling amazing replica dog poo. Was too expensive at the time for me, but, have a look around.

Shaggys boot would now be probably so hidden by leaves and stuff that are pushed under the board walk, I'll bet it is still there, just so choked up with leaves it would need a stick and some time to clean all the leaves out to find it again.

Red handed, yes, a very tricky one to find.

Now, because I am a cynic, I have to wonder, will this mean that the person who "borrowed" the cache, now go looking for others??

Personally, I found that rather embarrassing. Seriously, I hope that was a majorly beatup piece, nobody actually searches like that do they?

next time instead of people whooping it up that they found it, we can get em dancing and singing "Whoops, we found it"

Sad.
