And yea though he hollered down the corridors of power, He was to be deafened by the all consuming SILENCE. ](*,) If that post is addressed to me, I don't spend all day here. I have other things to do as well. Oh, your question was answered 2 years ago next Friday http://forum.geocaching.com.au/vie...

Re: Archiving caches in National Parks
Thanks for the response Riblet, As you know there are issues with the boundary data. I am still curious as to an answer to my original question.... Are we likely to see more caches archived as you come across them? That question has already been answered. I have no reason to believe the boundary da...

Re: Archiving caches in National Parks
So is the answer to my question, Yes? You may also want to archive your own cache which is behind a locked gate in a National Park (GCPVP3). :-" As a responsible geocacher I have already checked my hides and archived those where the cache container was in a National Park. That cache is outside the ...

Re: GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
Does all this mean I should back something up before I update my gsak? Or is there something I can check to make sure it doesn't go wrong for me? I'm not all that great at fixing things on my computer if they go wrong #-o The upgrade will backup the data but you will lose the old program. To be rea...

Re: Archiving caches in National Parks
The note was for a temorary disable. No need for this as access has been re-enabled. I thought that these caches fell under the "Grandfathered" banner. I must also say that I was initially a bit offended by your sarcasm and veiled threat. Lucky I'm Thick-Skinned so I'm over it already. Back OT. Are...

Don't jump to conclusions, you could fall and hurt yourself.
It had an SBA note on it so it came up in the list of caches with SBA notes and than flagged as being in a DECC controlled area.

Dad & I both found http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=7807b00a-6b64-4319-8f2a-1befcbac008b this coin some time ago, now, for the life of me I cannot find it as it says I have it and I cannot remember what has happened to it, I don't believe I actually have it so I don't know what to ...

Re: GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
Its now. I have a fix from Clyde. The problem was in the current view. Clyde said it included some GSAK internal hidden fields which should never be in a view nor be displayed. The fix, once you get past the error message behaviour is to reset the view. "Tools=>Reset grid to default view" There will...

Re: GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
I read that thread earlier. I need 7.6.2 build 45 before I can put that on as it isn't full release. Finding that is proving to be a problem. The link is to the the home GSAK page and the only download links there are to the latest 7.7.0.109 that is causing the problem or 6.6.5.20 which is too far b...

Team Rubik wrote:I had a similar problem when using GSAK for the first time with Windows 7. The problem was something to do with opening the program as administrator and having forced file assocation checked in the Tools menu. Are you using Windows 7 too?

Re: GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
GSAK should have backed up your default database before the upgrade (7.7Back.zip). Open the zip file and copy the backed up dbs over the faulty ones and try again. I seem to recall something like that happening to me when I updated to 7.7 when it was in beta, but it worked ok second time round. I t...

Re: GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
What version were you updating from? I would say 7.6.3.13 as that's the version on my laptop, which I'm loath to update now. I would guess a restore database and reapply upgrade. it looks like your database is corrupt That option won't for two reasons, firstly this upgrade makes major changes to th...

GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
The update to 7.7.0.109 throws an SQLite Error.
SQLite Error 1 - no such column: Available.
with the program continually restarting irrespective of the button clicked on the Exception Log dialog.
Has anybody else experienced this?
I have notified Clyde.
