Re: Some thoughts on GCA...

For a caching map based on your home co-ords: On the main page there is a tab called 'My'. Click on that to open the menu and then click on 'Account'. When that page opens up, scroll down to find "My closest caches (google maps) and you have the google map based on your home co-ords. It is the best ...

Re: Some thoughts on GCA...

I love GCA as it allows for all kinds of caching. The thing I love the most is the cache map using google earth, as it not only shows GCA caches, but GC caches. I visit the map a lot, especially when planning to go caching, or if I am going somewhere with the Mrs and I want to know if there is a cac...

Re: help a newbe please

Another thing that might help, is go to your GCA account page (in the tabs at the top of the CGA page there is one that says 'my'. Click on that and choose 'account'. Scroll down until you find 'My closest caches (google maps)' and click on the link under that heading. Provided you have entered your...

Dragon zone pathtags?

I have no idea how many people would need to buy them to make them worth while for the GCA shop to sell them, but is there any interest in Dragon zone pathtags for each clan? As it stands each clan has the following members. Griffin 32 Phoenix 37 Cerberus 27 Minotaur 31 I dare say it would cost too ...

Re: Which way do you put a log book back--

Ahh, yes, but then the zip lock bag- very often about 4 times the size required- becomes caught under the lip and tears, or the pencil, included with the logbook in the oversized baggie (another pet hate of mine) pokes a hole in the bag. Not mine - I make sure they are fit in and don't get caught e...

Re: Which way do you put a log book back--

I have to admit that one of my hides is a mint tin, but my log book is inside a zip lock bag and is only a single sheet for a printed log, so it is easy to get in and out. :griffin

Re: puzzle cache query

Thanks - it is a GC, so if it is within a couple of km it gives me something to work with on the numbers. :)
