Garmin GPS 12 Upload not present
Hi All, Has anybody come across this messange on a garmin GPS 12 "Upload not present" And if so How did you fix it. I have been given this gps to have a look at. I tried to connect the gps to a computer to upload new firmware but it cant find it. Is there a reset. mmmm lots of questions please help ...

try downloading this file and run it

This converts the maps for ozi. It worked for me.

I do most of my caching solo so I leave a list of caches in planed order on the bench at home where my wife will find it. As for the rest of the stuff I take what is aproperate for the area I am going into. For example If caching in the city money for coffee is high on the list and if out bush water...

Well it depends if you like Holdens or Fords. Holdens are Garmins and fords are magellans. I know garmins from the US can be loaded with a free base map of OZ following the instructions from www.gpsoz.com.au however they are not very detailed as the system depends on people uploading their track log...
