Now you've made me curious - which one?

Re: GeosportZ 2012 - Questions and Clarifications

Is everyone else getting really tense and nervous about maintaining the marathon streak? 8-[ All the caches that I can easily access on a weekday are one's I've especially avoided as being annoying little micros that are too hard to find in muggle-type areas :( No, because I'm currently trying to d...

Re: Missing caches in Sydney

Sorry about your caches rinsemesocks. I have meetings in the city every month or so, and usually look for a cache or 2 between meetings. Mostly they're yours. Hopefully if someone is deliberately taking them, they will get bored & give it up soon. I did hear (from Baktrak) that a number had gone mis...

Re: How to identify a Cacher?......

If you can see a travel bug sticker on the window of their car, that's a pretty good giveaway :D . We were trying to out wait someone last Monday, and were wondering if the people in the other car were also cachers trying to out wait us. It was a multi where one waypoint is only about 70 m down the ...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

Thanks. That makes sense.

There was at least one benefit to my manual import - a few of the logs from around the time of the Albury mega didn't get imported, my import brought those ones over :) .

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

Can you check what I've done wrong with my import for GCJP16 (Woof Woof) then please? It's a virtual, so I waited until I got permission to log a find, but I did log a note to keep my finds for the day in order (I know that's very anal of me). I got my email permission yesterday, updated my log last...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

If you log a cache on GC initially as a note, and that log imports to GCA, and you subsequently change the note to a found it log, does a new import update the status on GCA?

Re: Looking for Blue Mountains Geocachers

Sunday's event is at Wentworth Falls Lake, and most people who cache regularly in the Mountains will be there.

I'll be there, come up & talk to me about your planned event. If I can help, I'd be glad to. And I'm sure you'll lots of others who would also be able to help.l

Re: Munzees!

I still don't quite get it though. :-k I think I get it but as my phone is Windows Phone 7 I don't get to play. :( My one beef is when I start searching for a cache and find a Munzee, part of me says find your own location rather than hiding it next to a cache. :-k Yes, unless you are the cache own...

Anyone want to help me test a puzzle?

I've just finished creating a logic puzzle and was wondering if I could find a volunteer to test it for me. I think it all holds together logically, but would really like someone to work through it & see if it is solveable.

Any takers?

Re: 8 x Eneloop batteries $19.99

Can I ask how long this offer is on for? And is it only available online or am I able to purchase them in store? (we live close enough to a DickSmith). Last time this deal was available I got them for the cheap price from a DS store. If you are near one, go in & see. Can't hurt & you might get luck...

Re: costs to use nearmap now?

I wish we could still use it for work, it gives the most useful data in most areas. But management isn't willing to pay for the access & have blocked our access.

None of the other similar sites provide the archived record that nearmaps has, and that is the useful bit for our purposes.
