Re: Locationless caches

Goldenwattle, you said it almost exactly the way I think it. I no longer bother, either, and when one is publsihed, I think, "Oh, it's just a locationless", and delete from my e-mail. I think the only locationless we still like to chase is the George and Annis Bills horse troughs. I am not sure if S...

Re: Cerberus Clan Chat

Thanks for the offer.
Sol had a few well-chosen words with me about it all yesterday, so I will give it a few days to sink in, I think. If I can think of anything to ask about after that, I will come here and ask.

Re: How many metres is a mintute and second in Log and Lat

Why don't you tell us what GPSr model you are using?
Someone is bound to have something similar, if not the same, and might be able to help you to understand it. (Most likely not me, I hasten to add - I am useless with tech.)

Re: Complaints thread

OK, I do have a small complaint. Well, it's more of a question, really. You know about all those trig points all over the country? The ones that show on a map as a 'Z'? Do you think we could have a button that makes them disappear from the map, so that it doesn't look quite so crowded and complicate...

If you advertise your new night cache on here or on Facebook, you never know who might take a fancy to go and find it!

Re: So where/how do you draw the line re safety?

Taz, you do what makes you feel safe. You won't enjoy it out there, if you're frightened or worried all the time, anyway. You could consider taking a large hatpin or loud alarm, or you could just hunt for a like-minded friend and cache as a team. I find that "we" find more caches when I go out with ...
