Re: Caching Cleanup
I don't think the idea is to put them into a cache so this seems a minor problem, if you came across a cache with enough room and you felt like leaving one as a swap then ok, but doesn't seem the intention. I think the idea of a cleanup is good, tag your log that you cleaned something up? GC - Garba...

Re: Lifespan of GCA Moveables
I've hidden a few gnomes with GC and GA caches, makes it easy as you don't need to work our co-ords and also makes it easy for a local cacher to find as they probably know where the cache is.

Re: Munzees!
Finding the Munzee experience pretty frustrating, map doesn't load on my pc, ok on phone but I like to "browse" on the pc first.

Re: GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
I've had a gnome travelling around with me a bit, stopped to drop him off a couple of times but realised it's different hiding them now, rather than during the game. Less chance of a rapid pick-up so location needs to be a bit more secure. I better find him a home soon before frogs start getting in ...

Re: New to Geocaching
Hold down the ok button and it creates a waypoint then go into waypoints and edit it to the co-ords you want.

Re: Moving Cache Race 2011 / 2012 - Theme Poll
Well, there are 7 votes for eclipse tins so that would mean all 7 had to get banned. Which raises the question of whether the faeries actually know who voted for which? Of course we do. A certain Canberran with an underscore in their name should be worried. Someone from Victoria with numbers in the...

Re: Minimalist Cache Logs -- Opinions Wanted
I like reading logs on caches that I've already found to see other peoples experiences, gets boring when someone does a big cache run in an area and cuts/pastes the same thing on each cache.

Re: Munzees!
Decided to look at this Munzee thing while bored the other day, downloaded the app and found some nearby, scanned the thing.... thought, is that it...? shows up I've found one, so went to another one, scanned it, but nothing happened, the app failed to connect a few times, I eventually read that the...

Re: Android phones for geocaching
One thing to bear in mind is some caches you may not be able to get a data connection so unless you've saved the co-ords before you head out then it may not be much use
