Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
So who is going out at midnight for the chance at an FTF? If you do could you please log them as soon as? By the time we get around to going for a look we would like to find some! I am also looking forward to seeing how creative people have been, I think most of ours are pretty cool! I'll be out at...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I don't have any problem with other people finding their own moveable caches, I agree that once they are moved to a new hide, you become like any other cacher looking for it. But we each play the game in our own way, and my way is to not log a find on my own caches. If it turns out that noted/moved ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Since it is only the moved logs which count with bingo cards, does there have to be a found log preceding it? I don't want to find my own caches, but if I need one of my own cache numbers for bingo, I was wondering if a noted log to say that I had taken the cache followed by a moved log would work. ...

Re: App for iPhone
... Also, not sure about the 5, but previous iPhone GPS chips haven't been great. Maybe with the iPhone 3 they weren't great, but the one in the 4S is great. While I'd rather use my GPS, sometimes I don't have it on me when I get the notification for a new cache. Never had any trouble finding a cac...

Re: Who owns the land.
You can easily find out who owns the land by doing a title search. That costs money. Most title in Australia is held through Torrens Title, even parks and road sides. Basically, the principle of ownership is: The High Court Wik decision says that land is not initially owned by anybody (ie. as in 17...

Re: Trackable Collection
If you don't have the option to move it to collection, edit the trackable page & click on the option about being collectible.
Then when you save & go back to the trackable page, you will have the option in your "actions" box.

Re: What's the hidden date when listing an event cache?
Thanks C@W :D . If I'm creating a listing for an event (GCA), is the hidden date today or the day of the event? I've got my draft listing ready, just hesitating over the right date to use. I know with moveables for the cache race we need to put in a future date, so that they all publish on 1/12/12. ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
My first time doing one of these, so Im still not sure how this works, even after reading CachingGames.com and the Forum posts but......... Im just guessing that when someone moves your cache a certain amount of Klms eg 11ks, and if you have a bingo card with an 11, then that card gets a tick on th...

Do you have to enter a moveable to get a bingo card, or can you enter the game as a cache finder only & still get a card?

Re: GeosportZ 2012 - Questions and Clarifications
Thanks for the huge amount of time you put into this caughtatwork, it was great fun to play. I'm stunned I ended up in a prize winning position, since I put very little planning into my playing, and just took part for the fun of it.
