Re: Blitz

I've racked my brain (what's left of it) with little or no success, on this issue of fairness to all in games. I'm sure others have, too. If you can think of a game with more equitable rules, or a fairer idea for a game, I am certain that Caught@work would be delighted to hear about it. There have b...

Blitz

I have thoroughly read the rules of the game, and am looking forward to playing, but I do not understand it all.

Is this a game where dragonzone clans compete with other clans, or is it a combined effort, where all clans get together and find caches?

Re: States of the Nation Scavenger Hunt and hides

Thank you! I do understand a fair bit more now than I did before. I appreciate your time and your efforts. Thank you again!!!!

I will wait a day or two, read it all again, see how I feel about the game. Thank you.

Re: States of the Nation Scavenger Hunt and hides

I still genuinely don't understand the Dragonzone game, nor do I understand the current State of the Nation game. I am aware that I am not in the majority, although I know I am not the only one. Why does this stuff have to be so convoluted and confusing? It's only supposed to be a game. 1. How can w...

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

It is a word, it just isn't a noun. And yes, it does matter. It is a big deal. Get it right.

We could achieve all the goals you mentioned and still use the correct words for the situation - without even breaking a sweat.

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

I have re-read the rules of the game.

Is a 'scavenge' a find? A geocache?

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

Thank you, J_&_J and Craigrat for your explanation. I didn't play last year. I didn't understand it. Not even after the event (I think that was last year....?). I just did what Steve told me to do. The idea of bringing states and territories into the whole process fills me with terror. I will never ...

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

I think I should have some idea of what it's supposed to be about first.

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

Sol, I have to say that your definition was a little less than useful, given the context of a game. I can only assume that you don't actually want me to learn how to play this stuff.

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

Can someone define "scavenge" for me, given that it isn't a word in the real world?

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game

I am really sorry about those of you who are so isolated that it is impossible to play games. :(

I wish there was a way to make the playing field more level.

As for my opinion on the games, I enjoyed the themed movable races. :gnome :frog :weepingangel

Re: Phones & GPS

I started by printing out information and a map, like No_Tomorrow did. I wanted to see how much fun it was before investing in a dedicated GPS unit. Being very stubborn, I used the printout method for about 3 months, then Steve bought me a GPS. Of course, as soon as technology was invilved, Steve go...
