Re: New version of "your computer has errors" scam?

I haven't had a landline phone for the last seven or eight years. I therefore have missed out on receiving these calls. Thankfully, I have yet to receive such a call on my mobile and that is despite having the same number since August, 1988. \:D/

And if you want to, add a note where their log used to be saying they have to sign the log to claim the find. As for holiday caches, I may not always log "on the day" if I don't have internet access or time that night which with mobile internet is rare these days. But I will still log the found dat...

Re: Dubious Finds

I saw one recently where the finder didn't sign the log because there was no pen in the cache. I guess that means he doesn't search for micros, nanos or small, smalls. I've also noticed a handful of experienced cachers who frequently don't have a pen on them and so offer a photograph ...

Re: This may launch a cat among the pigeons

I enjoy tackling archived caches very much. In one case I found an archived cache oblivious to the fact that it was archived. In a second, I found an archived cache whilst searching for a new cache. Got the FTF on the new one but then had a hell of a time working out which cache the archived cache w...

Re: Elevation plot graph

As you've been able to indenitify the track's .gpx file, you could try uploading it to gpsvisualizer. I prefer the way it draws elevation profiles to those drawn by Garmin Basecamp.

You have a terrific blog. I'm slowly reading my way through it, and found your review of the Edge 810 excellent.

Cheers,

Re: Two million caches

I really only started paying attention to the number yesterday morning, but the total has definitely gone backwards. Maybe some CO's are finally archiving caches that are no longer viable?
