Find an Anarcache None - listed. BWHAHAHAH  I dare someone to be first to list one. Im allready formulating an anarcahe but will not get to hide it for a few days. I haven't got time at the moment to do it. I was supposed to hide a TerraCache too, but haven't done that either. I might just...

There are cliques in the caching community as there will be in any association. A clique of cachers who decide to "trash" someone elses caches by continually voting "low" is a readily forseable issue. As long as the "votes" are not made anonymous then this may work. We should also consider "sock pup...

I second mind socket's why! without further evidence or reason why raise the issue again. I know the approvers must trash so many things... maybe some examles of what not to do are needed perhaps if rules are on the agenda again we should form another splinter cell and join Anarchy geocaching! LOL!...

I PM'd DF and he did respond to indicate he didn't know about my cache. I have asked whether it can be relocated to the other end of the bridge but haven't had a response. He may be otherwise occupied. As I've mentioned above I don't really have a problem with the two caches so close. It's the poten...

Oh, I expected this would happen which is why I'm asking here whether there is anything additional to the note I placed on my GC cache I could do. There could end up being many caches within close proximity of each other. That's not necessarily a problem. People logging the find of cache A against c...

PLEASE LEAVE THEM BOTH THERE UNTIL AT LEAST THE WEEKEND. I'm in Melbourne 4/2 TO 7/2 & it would be nice to get 2 reasonably easy ones very quickly. Thanks if it can be done. BWAHAHAHA! You probably won't find mine "easy" but then again you might. On another note, I've written to the cache owner ask...

It was always going to happen

I have a cache located near the Swan Street bridge in Melbourne. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=d0800372-8daf-4414-bfa2-6d00f0d6d5fb S 37° 49.386 E 144° 58.591 Today there has been a new Geocaching Australia cache hidden within about 8m of this existing cache. http://ge...

The problem with creating multis is that many people won't have a go at them, even if they are very easy. I have met cachers who don't load any multis into their GPS's because they think they'll take too long or be too difficult. Some of the ones they miss out on have been fabulous but simple offse...

Actually, I think i! stopped anything that's not a GC, GA or SH. A fix that was applied to avoid "smart waypoint names".

Still, no guarantee until advised.

Whoops, I made a booboo [closed]

I loaded a file of my logs from GSAK the other day and made a booboo.

GC7D6E#2
GCB442A
GCHB4YA

These were loaded and they shouldn't have been. They're additional placeholders in my GSAK DB for multiple finds.

Can some kindly person with the right access delete these.

Sorry about that.

Another disturbance has occurred [closed]

http://geocaching.com.au/caches/available/au/vic/ A disturbance in the feed there is, hmmm, yes. Since 22/1 no new caches from GC.com have appeared, hmmm, yes. Some logs also appear not, but we expect that the weekend may be the cause so we will let this disturance pass. The new caches not being see...

Should you say whether your bearings are true or magnetic?

When you come across a cache that expects you to walk a number of meters in a direction do you expect that the direction should be given a true or magnetic? I've lost count of the number of caches that I've tried (and eventually succeeded at) where there is no indication of whether the direction is ...

Go to any cache. Click the link, "log your visit." That will take you to a page with a url such as http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?ID=89885 If you don't know the numeric ID, change the "ID=" to "WP=" and replace the number with the GC code so you get: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?...

I agreeb with pprass in regard to having lessons from the experienced cachers. Unfortunatly I had to knock back an offer from embi to go to Ballarat earlier in the week because of work. I did find some easy caches close to home but did not have much luck with ones of the next level, which makes one...
