Please explain?
Skype also routes calls through other Skype peers on the network to ease the traversal of Symmetric NATs and firewalls. This, however, puts an extra burden on those who connect to the Internet without NAT, as their computers and network bandwidth may be used to route the calls o...

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature - When in someones cacher page, for example CraigRats , down the right had side there is a listing of items such as "Stats", "Popularity", "Mates" and of course the new "Gallery" menu item. When I click on his Gallery link, his Gallery page opens (which is what...

Well, one area has staggering 169 caches within a 10km radius at less than 3/3 rating that are not multis/moveables/other......... Hmm, where was that flight listing......
My Dad has just sold his house in SA and is moving over here - I might just have to go over and help him pack. . . .a coupl...

Looks like the Google Maps satellite images are the older set - they certainly are for Tasmania - our poor city is covered in cloud still, whereas in Google Earth it's right down to street level on one of Tassie's lovely clear summer days.

I'd go for the 3.5" solution, nothing is 100% safe, but I feel more secure with my larger (Vantec NexStar) enclosure. That eBay price is not much more expensive than the price of just the Seagate 200 gig HDD, so not sure of the quality of the enclosure. The 2.5" laptop drive I have doesn't fill me w...

Not quite. Things such as sig cards left by finders would not be considered fair game. Has the finder no longer "found" the cache if someone removes their card? The only reason I could see for removing a card in the first place is to place it in a cache the card owner hasn't done yet, so when they ...

I'll concede that. Does the same trademark application apply to Australia I wonder? Don't know how it works - but I'm sure we all remember the great Ugg Boot battle of 2005. A bloodbath for a while, but the Aussie Ugg Boot makers won out in the end. I've just tried to find some information about In...

He hasn't vigorously defended his trade mark against anyone else using it, so in effect he's lost it.
I was just pointing out that he has the term "Geocaching" registered as a trademark, which not a lot of people know - you didn't by the looks of it :?

Geocaching is not a trademarked term. Oh yes it is! Bet it would be if they'd been able to! I think you will find Jeremy has tied that one up already - there was some talk a few years ago about him trademarking the name. But it was to cover the sales of his merchandise I think and not to stop peopl...

Does anyone know how far behind the UK we are with Top Gear episodes? The show that airs next monday is the last of Season 6, which went to air on the 7th of August 2005 - so rhinogeo was pretty well spot on. HTML based epsiode list here , other more comprehensive episodes guides can be found here ...

Is it possible for an admin to do a query on the forum database to see how many active members there are? For example logged on in say the last 90 days - this would include the members that just read and don't post.
