Re: dragonZone
Any chance the code for movables can be changed so the points get awarded on a move of more than 1km similar to what the bingo game in order to minimize the "found but not moved" logs. There's nothing more annoying than seeing a movable logged after 12 months in one spot only to be left there becaus...

Re: Cerberus Clan Chat
I'm in Melbourne Eastern suburbs. I've been back onto getting the local movables going again but there are still a few not too far away that I haven't done so I'm trying to make the trek out to them. This also seems to be the perfect reason to hang around the city to clean up all those B&W camel ico...

Re: Travelling OS with GSAK
I use File Manager HD by Rhythm Software to unzip and copy the file. Find the zip file. There's a shortcut to the Download folder on the left, it should be there. Mine goes there when downloaded using Chrome. Press and hold on the zip file till the menu comes up and select Extract | Extract to this ...

Re: Help required with regards to purchasing a GPS.
I have the etrex 30 with openstreetmaps installed and they have heaps of detail everywhere I've been. You can download and instal them for free. I would recommend the etrex.

Re: Has the CGA CGC site been changed?
GCA site had a save button down on the bottom left of the edit page. GC has a Submit Log Entry button on the left below the trackable stuff.

Re: Travelling OS with GSAK
I have a galaxy tab too. The OTG adaptor has a USB socket and a couple of card slots. I take the sd card from the GPS and plug it into the adaptor. Then I just drop the gpx files (directly from pocket queries) onto the card using the tablet's file manager. This is how I do all my GPS downloads. Ther...

Re: Travelling OS with GSAK
I thought most tablets should support USB via a separate adaptor. I got one for a few dollars off Ebay. Search for your tablet name with USB OTG. I use my tablet to transfer the gpx files from GC and GCA to the sd card for the etrex. I used to be able to plug the GPS in with a USB cable but after th...

Re: Navigate to GZ using Website map
If you touch the GMap (Native) link on the right it should give you the option to send the location to any mapping app that you have installed and navigate from there.
The GA cacher app is a really good option as well. I use it all the time for GA.

Re: Let's Talk Angels!
I've got nine angels for the trip to Melbourne tomorrow. Hope someone can collect a similar amount (nothing too huge though) and leave them in the Templestowe region. PM me for more info and my mobile number. I did a drop this afternoon. There's 9 angels as well as 7 bingo and 2 leapfrog caches. So...

Re: Let's Talk Angels!
I will be flying to Melbourne next Thursday (16th). I can spread the angels from NSW/ACT to the southern angel stronghold and bring back some to infect Sydney. I will be staying in Templestowe so if anyone wants to place a cache of angels in that area I'll leave the same behind and get these back t...

Re: Are iPhones bad news for GCA?
I use Locus on an Android phone and I just load up gpx files from GC, GCA and Munzee and get all my icons in one app. I use the Munzee app to log Munzees and GA cacher to log GA movables and I use Locus field notes to do the rest of my logging.
