Re: Don't forget your towel
Don't forget to carry your towel with you tomorrow! Towel Day ... and what a blast - we even get a mention! That's fantastic! =D> Barring eventualities such as angering Norse Gods and being turned into a vending machine, I'll be there! On the bright side, if you do get turned in to a vending...

Yeah next thing they will create trackable bottle lids, so that you can chuck your beer lid in a cache and see where it ends up

New type of TB - Backpacker
Noticed on the weekly GS mail out that they have introduced a new type of TB. From the page here : Ever wish your travel bug had a nice protective backpack to carry that special item from cache to cache. Well now it does. The new Travel Bug Backpacker is a special Geocoin designed to fit onto a trad...

Re: Happy Anniversary - The Offical Congratulations Thread
The first 10 years have been great, and I'm sure that the next 10 years will see things develop even more, especially on GCA.
Congrats must go to the current developers, and i! as the site wouldn't exist in it's current form without them!

Re: GSAK not loading trig points to Oregon 450
I use the Colorado/Oregon Export Macro with my 400t, and have no problems with TPs. The only drama I have with TPs now is archiving more than I 'find' as they turn out to be on private property. ](*,) Out of interest, what does this Macro do that the standard Send to GPS doesn't do? I understand it...

Re: Have you cached on Christmas Day?
Do we need to organise an event for 4th July this year for Freddo to celebrate the completion of every day of the year? Or will the frog be racing around Adelaide on a mega raid?
Also, is there some irony in the fact that his only date left is independence day?

Imigration might have to check their visa's, and see if they are really here in a working holiday, or just being tourists.

Re: Google Earth vs Google Maps
Try nearmap, you will get even better quality when you zoom in really close, and you can change the dates/years that you want to view, rather than just being stuck with the latest satellite image.

Re: Power Trails: an (ammo) can of worms
I was pondering the concept of power trails while on a bike ride a couple of weeks ago and I'd like to run an idea past the people on this forum. While not strictly a power trail in some senses, I see an opportunity for roughly 30-40 caches a few hundred metres apart along a linear rail trail. Road...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Not so much an issue, but maybe a cosmetic confusion. If a cache comes across from GC, and I have found/DNF'd it, obviously now I have the option to rate the cache. If the cache has not been rated by others before, the option to rate the cache is right there in the middle of the screen stating that ...

First step to try would be to contact Parrot Head and I'm sure that he would be more than happy to give you a nudge in the right direction.

Looks like there is a new April fools day feature that displays a couple of random images and errors, before another refresh returns you back to normal transmission.

Re: Mega Oz Power Trail
Anyone else would have just decided to have fresh breath for the next 10 years and just thrown 1001 eclipse containers out the window, called it a power trail, and not really cared about the logs or anything. As usual Mr Emu comes to the front with a well thought out and designed container. After do...
