Re: New Server

Nice specs on the new box. That should kick along nicely. Looking forward to it being rolled into service.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

Gentlemen,

I was getting "too many connections" errors this morning. Tried a few times to connect but just gave up. Been out all day so only just able to report the problem now.

Cheers,
Michael.

Unsolicited email from geospy.org.

I received this email from geospy@geospy.org: Hello, we would like to ask You what are You thinking about GeoSpy.org (started at 12. December 2013)? It is similar, but simplest project than Waymarking. You are very experienced waymarker. And Your opinion is very important for me. Greetings to Campbe...

Re: unlisted trig stations

Another tip.

I've taken screen captures of the six maps, saved them as jpg files and loaded them onto my phone for later reference. If looking for SSMs in urban areas it saves having to work out the co-ords for each one.

Re: unlisted trig stations

As suggested by Toriaz the SIX site is the bees knees. Additional to the above. If a TP has been inspected it will usually have a letter designation after the number i.e. TS0000D. The "D" indicates it has been destroyed, an example of which can be seen here: http://geocaching.com.au/cache/tp6118 . A...

Re: thanks to 'hiders' of locationless caches

I logged a DNF on the NSW State Survey Markers locationless.

Found one of the blue metal signs the LPI use to indicate an SSM is nearby on top of the Bullio Tunnel on Wombeyan Caves Rd. Had a good look for the actual SSM but could not find it. So I logged a DNF.

Cheers,
Michael.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

Morning all. I get one PQ (#2244 - GCA Home) mailed to me weekly. This morning the email arrived and there was no file attached. I checked the PQ on my "My Query" page and it is OK, just seems the file didn't get attached to the email. Interestingly the email subject field looked like this: "[GEO] P...
