One advantage of living on the West Coast is we no longer have to wait for these episodes to make their way across the pond ... by legal means or otherwise.
There is enough detail contained in the GC forum thread for those who are interested ... the episode also sparked a hasty disclaimer on the...

We picked up one of these jobbies to help us find our way around here:
http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/util_get_image/9/0,1311,i=90394,00.jpg
A bit smaller than the 630. It tends to get a bit confused if you don't stay on the recognised roads (eg. some carparks), so I wouldn't recommend ...

Even better to see GCA referred to in the same breath as GC - should boost the site profile a little.

(And they even spelled MacCarthy correctly!!!)

Some interesting stats for human factors in aviation - something like 80% of fatal aircraft accidents can be traced to 'deliberate' errors ... such as pilot(s) making a conscious decision to take a risky option (like flying into severe weather, or accepting an aircraft with known defects).
Error...

And I have done some climbing that I would never have thought I would do until I started looking for little plastic boxes in the bush. The achievement is a great reward. :P
That wouldn't have been Kengal, by any chance? :D Really enjoyed that one, one of my favourite spots from caching. ...

It was also attributed to human error rather than the onboard computers: On June 26, 1988 Air France A320 crashed into trees during an air show maneuver when the aircraft failed to gain height during a low pass with the gear extended. Three of the 136 passengers were killed. This story is often brou...

We used it a couple of times to call home after we moved into our house - had cable internet online the same day, but the phone took another week!!
Contrary to previous posts, we found the delay to be quite annoying - and this was on a 3Mb cable link. It achieved the aim, however ... guess you g...

Freddo Frog mascot can keep saying "Don't put me in Caches! The critters will eat me!!!"
We've already got a Freddo Frog in SA ... don't know if he really wants to be elevated to mascot status though!
Maybe a Caramello Koala instead? Variation thereof? Perhaps more recognisably Australian t...

We appreciate the forum side rather than the caches information - for the time being at least, until we return home!! I think the current setup works well - it provides a lot of the stats the old insidecorner site used to provide, and can show a 'complete' listing of caches found between GCA and GC....

Maybe a way to 'combine' users is required.
