i don't have garmins mapsource program and have been looking for a program to open my shonky maps img files.

ok stupid question: are willderness areas national parks? I would love to go caching in a national park, but i totally understand the reasons for this being frowned on. but don't the national parks encourage responsible recreation? or maybe we could just use the picnic tables as a log book like most...

I am wondering if anyone knows of or has found a way to export a GPX file to my oregon 300 so that when a cache is logged as containing a trackable item it would show ON MY GPS MAP / tripcomputer as an icon showing such? any help or steeping in the right direction would be appreciated. thanx cachers.

What is the reason behind the non affiliation of the two sites?
Why, if I hide with GCA my cache will never be listed on GC. But If I list on GC, it will show on GCA?
Why, then, should I hide on GCA over GC?
