Locationless are OK...Not my thing, but I have done the odd one. I did a couple of survey marks on Mt Oberon, and the most interesting part was learning about what they are, and what they're used for. I managed to get a few documents off the web about each one, and that enriched the experience. See ...

I have just had a look at the 'Nude up for a Smiley' cache - what a good idea. It's hilarious!!!

Yes, I got a shock too - how annoying is that. Especially when I hadn't had a chance to look at the 'inappropriate content' (nudity) Thank goodness the forum is still accessible, where will it end?

BitTorrent?

Each time one of us creates the full vic build, share it on bitTorrent, or even more group or friend oriented, OneSwarm.

e.g. latest victoria vic-2009-03-08.gpx.

Not too hard to load into gsak, and generate a regular pq to create updates.

Sorry to see that Super T scratched the Oregon and agree this must be disappointing. But this could happen to any unit - amazing how easily the glass screen on my eXplorist got scratched so easily. I've had the Oregon for weeks and have taken it to some seriously rough territory and the screen prot...

This is similar to what roblisa.com used to provide, which was gold for new cachers. I would like to see such files hosted on GCA if legally and politically possible. The whole 500 limit thing makes it hard for noobs to get going. I'm not too sure about copyright issues though - there's no explicit ...

I reckon that if you're not too sure, go for the yellow etrex H from JohnnyAppleseed. No frills, they just work. I have a Colorado, and Judy has my old yellow etrex, and when caching together near GZ it's about 50-50 on the find ratio. There is a lot more pfaffing around printing sheets etc, but at ...

I can slot my Colorado into the dash of my Camry covering the tacho. A quick glance is just like a quick speed check.
