I know I have lost a couple of points but in the scheme of things what's 1.5 points - its not worth the work for the site admin to add these points back.

Re: Spring Caching Carnival
Hi Just as a suggestion to future movable games, can it be a condition that a move doesn't count for the game if hidden within say 50 metres of one of it's previous hiding spots. Just I see some caches simply being moved from one spot to another to another and back to the first spot and then repeat....

Re: 2014/15 Moveable Challenge/Race
Maybe a limit of one or two moveables per cacher might be a sensible idea. There were so many in Tasmania that they became hard to hide once you found them. Quality not Quanity is the key

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
Hi. Quick question. Do these movables need log books? Is the finding and moving of the cache enough to prove they were found?

Re: Geocaching Devices
IMHO the biggest advantage of the GPRS unit (I use an Oregon) is that you can replace the batteries when your out and about. With the iphone and some other devices with fixed batteries you could find yourself having to stop caching while the device charges.

Re: Clearly 'Not Chosen'
"Other" is a catagory for things that dont meet the traditional definitions of a cache. ie a box with a log in it. The most common 'other' cache I can think of are 'flat' caches like magnets with a log book on the back. These often have a reference on the cache page to let people know why you chose...

Re: Your geocaching goals 2013
1) find the 54 caches in my 20km radius. Most are long or very long walks so a coupe a day is about the limit
2) hide a earth cache
3) place three new caches that I have constructed
4) fill in the remaining 40 days or so on my calendar.

I love see pens and basically carry one every where while caching

They write on wet paper, they don't run if you leave them in your pocket on a long walk.

Totally agree with cheesy, which is something I try not to do.
Movables are movables and I can go anywhere anyone takes them.

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Gee, none of my frogs last year had a log and none of the ones this year have one either. If you have moved the cache surely this is proof that you have found it? Actually very few of the Tasmanian frogs I found last year had a log I assumed I was doing the right thing - caughtatwork can you please ...
