Re: Topo Australia V2

They sit on top of all other maps and you can turn them on and off without affecting the other maps. A poor mans topo map. They might be a poor man's map but there certainly are effective. Got my thumbs up for product! =D> Cheers Rob. I completely agree, I am using them on the Dakota 20 and its rea...

Re: Garmin compass calibration

GREAT! #-o Downloaded and ran the update last night and not only did it make the GPSr crash but it was also nice enough to wipe the entire internal memory so now when you turn it on all it says is "System Software Missing". After 2 40+ minute calls to Garmin Australia they sent me a zip that is mea...

Re: Garmin compass calibration

Can someone tell me if they have a problem with their Garmin constantly asking to be re-calibrated? We are using a Darkota 20 and we are finding ourselves having to re-calibrate every 20 minutes or so if we are using compass. It's at the point at the moment that we only use the map because the mome...

Re: Geocaching Live Software

Just worked out how to get Nearmap Aerial photos working. Use http://www.nearmap.com/kh/v=49&x=[X]&y=[Y]&z=[INVZ] for the server. Noticeably better than Google Satellite even on my small 6110 screen. Assume it would be a huge improvement on a phone with a bigger screen edit: Sorry...can't work out ...

Re: Geocaching Live Software

Does anyone know the Server URL for the Open Street Maps Cyclemap? The wiki has Mapnik and Osmarender, but not Cyclemap. This would be handy as it shows contour lines as well. Hey indaweeds, I have done an extensive search online to try and find the map server addresses for you but it has been ](*,...
