Re: 'Theft' of trackables - it's getting ridiculous.

Oooh do elaborate, russelz! I tend to pick them up if I notice they've been there for a while, but otherwise I feel bad if I take them and don't get around to moving them for a couple of weeks. Always log them though. I don't understand why anyone would want to hang onto them, even if they do look n...

Re: Geocaching in Bali

I go to Indonesia every 18 months or so, but haven't been since I started caching. It'd be nice if there were as many on other islands as there are in Bali! They're few and far between elsewhere.

Re: Team cards cuasing a problem.

Ah, so it's not just me who thinks they're a pain then! But then I think half the stuff in caches is a pain, particularly when it makes it difficult to shut the lid. :)

Re: Sistema 50% off KMart - 22/10 to 28/10

Thanks! I've been meaning to pick some up, but have been waiting for a sale. Now all I need to do is work out where a K Mart is...

Re: Melbourne vs Parramatta

I went up for the game (and got my first NSW caches while I was at it). I'm a Dragons fan, but was going for the Eels because I was with a Parramatta supporter and have no particular love for the Storm!

Re: Helpful Hints for Newcomers

Where's a good place to get hold of a hard drive magnet? I obviously see them in caches everywhere, but have never come across one otherwise.

Re: It's all quiet here now

I've been too busy with work, studies, footy and soccer of late. It's rather restricted my caching efforts. Not that I'm a big contributor to the forum anyway. :)

Re: Are Nanos real caches?

I like them because I generally find them pretty easy to find, for some reason. I don't enjoy trying to extract and replace the log though.

I'm yet to get a FTF. I guess I just don't try hard enough. :)

I've had lots of funny looks, but haven't ever been approached by muggles, with the notable exception of security guards at the remand centre in Adelaide. They told me to clear off because I was setting off all the alarms!

Geocaching.com.au being blocked by ACMA

Has anyone else got this message when trying to open www.geocaching.com.au? Is it Stephen Conroy's policy at work? It's bizarre:
This Website has been blocked by ACMA
Why has this website been blocked and removed?
This website 'Geocaching Australia' at the internet address of http://geoc...

I've done the one in Tassie. Not sure when I'll make it to any of the others though.

As my username might suggest, I follow the mighty Sainters. The club has made me a "Gold Member" this year, because I've been a member every year since 1995. Woohoo. I got a cache on the way back from Hawthorn v Geelong last night. Will have no such luck for tonight's game v Sydney, for I only live ...
