I didn't go for the frogs idea before...

Re: Elevation

In a future release you could suddenly refer to the elevation as: about sea level, pretty low, a bit higher, really high, somewhere on top...

... Bob and I have registered separately, but I see people have 'team' names - can we register a team name as well? All of our finds have been made together so far and we have both logged our finds...is this the correct thing to do? Seems like double entry to me....should we just log once with a te...

Pity this one wasn't used in the race. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51jkCyDcsKL._SL500_AA300_.jpg Gnome Planking! It is dangerous and should be discouraged. Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2011/2012

What about a theme that requires/makes possible a contribution form the finder. An example might be an unpainted gnome that gets some shoes from one finder and a garden tool from the next... A bike frame that gets a wheel... seat... A sketch book... thumb drive... Inclusion - contribution not just s...

Re: GCA Rewards Restructure

Great, I look forward to making 500.

Some teams may have distributed some of their 100 PTs to team members. I know that if I had found 500 the boys would have snaffled one each and I wouldn't have anything to return.

Re: Geocaching without a GPS, is it possible?

I made my first 50 finds without a GPS and there after occasionally borrowing form a friend for five months. I was going to say I have never hidden a cache with out a GPS but actually I have. I smashed the screen of the Dakota just prior to the first movable race and set and re-placed all the caches...

Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................

Funny ... I was thinking about this thread today as I eyed my colleague's Sistema lunch box with lustful thoughts. I was explaining to a friend that Systema containers leak... and that there is testing done to see which containers were more water proof... as he cleaned spilled Bolognese out of his ...
