Re: Splinterheads is on DVD

I just watched Splinterheads. It wasn't too bad. My family enjoyed it and I liked the micro that they found and the fact that the movie was based in the amusment industry. It isn't often that a sideshow worker is portrayed as a halfway decent person. Although no one in the movie would have been empl...

Geocaching on the News

Geocaching was on NBN news tonight. I wonder if the cache they found will still be there tomorrow or if it was a plant. http://www.nbntv.com.au/index.php/2009/ ... -and-seek/

When placing your cache if you see any used needles in the area reconsider your hide. It's sad when you can see a cache but can't get it due to needles, not to mention dangerous if your caching with kids.

None of this is a problem for me. Since I don't get a great deal of time to go caching I decide what caches I plan on doing before I load them. There's nothing worse then looking at the gps and see how many caches are nearby that I can't get to. I love gca caches and not being able to use all the co...

GSAK will only show one gca cache even if you load a hundred. But with that one cache you do get the hint, logs and description. You just have to plan which one you want to find before you load up.

I just reloaded all the nsw gca caches. If I load the gpx file straight to the garmin they only come up as waypoints the same as Zom but if I load them into gsak, create a gpx file and move them across it's the same as before, I only see one cache. Looks like it's time to post on the gsak forum.

My colorado 300 does things different. When I was in Brisbane I tried for a gca movable and everything came up fine. After reading this thread I did some experimenting. GCA caches load from the gpx file export out of GSAK but only one will show up on the colorado. The others aren't hidden in waypoin...

The lowest limit you can get from the commonwealth bank is $500. The interest rate is a killer but you still get the month interest free and the yearly fee isn't much.
I've used it on paypal for a couple of years and I've never had a problem.

Unusual Phone Call

I had a strange phone call today. The number was withheld but I was expecting a call from a mate in the states so I answered it. I got a machine telling me to hold the line, I figured great another scam call and I'd be told I'd won a 'free holiday'. The person when they took the line asked if I was ...

The same thing has happened on my handheld that doesn't have oziexplorer on it. So I'd say it's a problem with the UBD software. And no I haven't managed to fix it it still works on my laptop so I just print out the map that I need.

This is an evil thread. Last time I googled my name I found I had been nominated for an award for a story I had published. I didn't win, thank god. Now I find I've been nominated for another one. Now I'm going to be stressed out until I don't win again. At least this time the list is huge. It's a bi...
