The GPS had a sinking and my mobile phone, well that was dead. Lucky I only had my old 3310 with me, so it was a cheap replacemen...

Most likly they had a sofware trojan on their computer that logs passwords etc. So I would reccomend backing up all important files onto CD or DVD and re formatting the hard disk. Grab the backup CD or DVD and check it for viruses before moving any files back to the HDD. Also change their passwords ...

Be warmed about GPS 60 series. There are also a few versions.. GPS 60 GPS MAP 60 GPS MAP60C and more. The GPS 60 is much like a standard Etrex and is Yellow, only advantage is that it can have an external antenna and is not worth to buy unless your travelling in the bush. It has no mapping support a...

Hmm, doesn't sound good at all. It looks to me that this motherboard is only a USB 1.1 version. And Windows XP shouldn't have a problem with any drivers. And the fact that none of the USB ports work even after a fresh format indicates a failure of the USB chip on the motherboard.... I would try to l...

If you have found JA to be cheapest you should print out a price from JA and then go to Anaconda on the corner of Canterbury and Bayswater Rd Bayswater and ask them to beat JA's price by 10%.... But s for the GPSMAP60's I have a standard b&w mapping version of the 60 series. I bought it online from ...

what brand of Motherboard do you use?

Is it a USB 2 compatible board? If so you may have to download some special drivers before the ports will be able to work.

Or if you dont know if it has USB 2 how old is it?

A good thing to have, when out bushwlaking in dangerous places or when rok climbing, I have never needed to have an EPIRB yet, and I dont think I would ever go out caching somewhere that dangerous without having someone with me.

The only glut that I have found that sticks well to PVC or many types of plastic is Epoxy glue, give the area a light sand before you join it with glue first though.

Hope this helps..
