A very good idea, pitty I only just bought a Garmin GPS 60 only 6 months ago. Oh well. I have the old trusty laptop in my car anyhow, but its about time they made a GPS that can hold more than the average 24 or 64MB of memory because you can only load about 1/4 of the county onto a 24mb chip with Me...

You will be able to load extra maps I think from memory 64Mb worth of it, from any Mapsource prduct from any country onto a overseas unit, as long as you have the correct Mapsource code for City Navigator or Metroguide Australia. However the internal basemap cannot be changed as it is permanently bu...

I have had one of my caches muggled and replaced with a Yellow container full of syringes. But BLACK.. Whats next. I think they need to make these containers more obvious that they are a sharps container. Like putting some syboles on them to alert a person of a dangerous item. Being Pure black is a ...

For most caches, it would be good to keep the logs in order, but I have used a blank spare page when the log book has been full or when the cache is really old. One time I didn't even notice it till SDM Geo picked up the log book and needed to write on the next page and it alrwady had a log in it fr...

(if everything goes to plan) ...

Wow, all I can say is that I thought the Milgrove track was a challengte, but it seems that there can be more. I dont mind physical challenge from time to time just like the Milgrove track in Warburton these caches are all the ones that will take 2 - 5 hours. With hard slogging all the way there and...

GZ accurate indoors and out, and underground.. hmm. 50 years fly by and we will be able to walk to a cache and pick it up without even looking for it. Therefore caches will become harder to find. More Maths, more triky questions and more waypoints. Traditional caching will come a thing of the past b...
