Re: Geocube - iOS app with native GCA support
Had a tech support visit and it looks like I needed to update the config file. With that done, all caches now show up on the map. Happily, I have now logged my first two virtuals via the app, photos and all!

Re: Geocube - iOS app with native GCA support
This new release is quite tidy. The GCA API sure helps. But even after loading the waypoints, I know there a few caches missing from my list. I don't have any filters turned on so I'm not sure why there are omissions.

Re: Trigs GPX file problems
Just remember that even with the latest firmware the Oregon 650 will sometimes change settings by itself. I do not use the auto compass but the device will turn it on randomly and there have been other settings that it has changed by itself that I didn't know about until something went wrong. Glad ...

Re: Trigs GPX file problems
I save a NSW GPX file and load it into GSAK and then send it over the Garmin. Usually works for me but sometimes I don't get the GCA stuff come across (probably more to do with user error than technology).

Re: Stickers/stamps for signing logs
Losing stamps - I do worry about this and have lost my stamp once. Thankfully the cacher that came after me found it, contacted me, and I arranged for him to place it inside the cache which I went back to collect later. But I do wish it had a place to attach a lanyard to.

Re: Cerberus Clan Chat
For my blue clan mates in Sydney, come throw some points at a cache I've just placed in the Rockdale LGA. This is the only point scoring cache in this zone and I'd like to keep in in blue hands.

Re: GA10000 now active.
Team MavEtJu and I were going to have a go at this one today until we saw that the FTF had gone yesterday. Will attack everything in the area at a more leisurely pace now.

Re: What is DragonZone?
Also, in this case, I was not looking for "help". I was looking for general information about DragonZone which I was expecting would be in an evident position somewhere on one of the pulldowns under the DragonZone Menu. Sorry things weren't so easy to find for you crew 153. There is a "Help and sup...

Re: Stickers/stamps for signing logs
I designed a stamp through Vistaprint quite specifically so it was versatile enough to be used in a variety of logbook sizes. Don't just go with default fonts and sizes, tinker until it works for you. And if you buy during one of their promo times they become quite reasonably priced. I have one for ...

Also note that newbies see a different front page than you would which changes each person's experience. Wiki page is at -http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/DragonZone. I have cleaned it up in the past but if you think it needs anything else to make for easier reading and understanding, do let us kn...

GA10000 Competition
As many Geocaching Australia players will know, we are coming up to our 10,000th hide! We anticipate that the magic cache numbered GA10000 will be reached sometime in the next few months. To promote this milestone, Geocaching Australia is offering one lucky GCA cacher the chance to hide this landmar...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Not sure if this is a problem with the new setup or not as I didn't try this before the change, but I can't print out a cache page using Firefox or Chrome. IE lets me print but page one with the map on it is all squished up. Is this a thing?

Re: Cerberus Clan Chat
I've got three hides planned for today (multi, night and D2) so I'm hoping that helps. But you guys need to get out there and find these too so we can keep piling on the :cerberus points. I picked up a Phoenix moveable on Wed that has 157 orange dZ points on it! Happy to hand it over to a blue team ...

We're back in the lead (at 3:45pm), but only by the slimmest of margins, there's only a 1 pointer in it. Let's keep it going, small but mighty blue dragons
