Caching in Film
During the week I saw an episode of Numb3ers on cable TV which contained a reference to a caching game. In pursuit of the bad guys, the agents appeared on the roof of a building where they discovered a large cylindrical tube containing plastic toys hidden under the rim of an exhaust outlet. The game...

Christchurch quake
Logged in to say something witty but then a news item about today's earthquake appeared and it took all of the wind out of my sails. Not a day to be funny or witty. Just a day to think of lives shattered. My sympathy goes out to everyone in the city, cacher or not.

You have to ask why they stamp their web site address on the pencils if they don't expect them to be taken away. They should thank us for the advertising!

Re: Counting finds
Oh, I love the techos! Always there with the right answer.
Thank you. Thank you.
Now if it rains as it is threatening to do this weekend I won't be having the jitters with the need to add to the numbers ... which are not really important ...

Re: Counting finds
Tried that ... actually done it a couple of times before ... but it still doesn't show my Italian finds in my GeoOz finds stats. It did bring in the 2 I did yesterday after work though so my Oz ones are up to 17 ... which added to 33 in Italy is exactly 50 WOO HOO! \:D/ Oh, but the numbers aren't al...

My opinion, too, Blossom! There are ladies in the 'room'
Although caching with a friend (or a sister) is more fun, I usually go on my own and it really doesn't hurt too much. I am a bit wary of going bush bashing alone, though. There are spiders in them there bushes!

Re: Counting finds
On that page I have the 15 that I have done in Australia but it doesn't count the 33 that I found in Florence and Rome. OK, so that doesn't add up to 63 but only 48, which means I haven't missed by 50 finds celebration ... better get on with it this weekend. Which brings up another puzzle for me. Ho...

Counting finds
Obviously, the most important thing about this game is the hunter and the find. Never let it be said that the numbers are important to me. BUT ... I am confused about how people count their finds. I have 48 finds on the Geocaching.com site and I have 15 on Geocaching Oz. These don't get added electr...

... you spot one of the tiny pencils the priest gave out to fill in the details on a donation envelope and have to remind yourself that stealing is a sin.
