Totally un-original, but family-friendly:

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, B1?"
"I think I am, B2!"

Hear, hear!

Enjoy your Vista, and happy caching everyone!

Just out of curiosity, was yours the Vista H Cx? The HCx has the "high sensitivity" GPS chipset, which I find very sensitive (using the ol' "turn it on inside" test, and compared to a Vista Cx)!
Mobile phones cheat and use A-GPS to work inside ;)
Hmmm... A Mobile Phone using A-GPS won't h...

You have to wonder why the vista is cheaper than the 60CSX when they seem to do the same. Having owned a Vista but now use a 60CSX and Colorado300 I can tell you they are not the same. The antenna on the 60 and Colorado work so much better in low reception areas. Just out of curiosity, was yours th...

Noticed the Z22 at Big W for $149 last week(seemed to be standard price). I paid about the same for the two I bought for my oldest boys a year or so ago from Dick Smith; nice little beasties they are too, and if you knew what these two have been through, quite robust too! 32MB of memory - 20MB of it...

OK, firstly, I'm about to embarrass myself enormously here:
Going by the pictures of the site shown on this post, and a few directions I gained by googling, I'm guessing the campsite is roughly 35 5.281S 147 27.528E ?
If so, then really ignorant "city-boy" question follows  : ...

I've just had the same conundrum, and was about to go for the Legend also, but then decided to pay $50 more for the Vista HCx; I do a bit of bushwalking so liked the altimeter feature, and the Magnetic compass I'd seen in action on someone else's machine, and it seemed to be beneficial when getting ...

OK, to make my position (for what it is worth) perfectly clear: I would be appalled if sponsorship was from a "product" that would not be allowed to be advertised during children's TV viewing time. We're screwed. There is a huge restriction on what can be advertsied during C classfied programs. htt...

Aaaaaaarrrrrggggg!!! I had an awful dream last night! There's my tribe of six kids traipesing through the bush, looking for the next big "red tag epic cache", proudly wearing their "GCA, powered by DUFF BEER" T-Shirts! :o SO, a small qualifier to my last post: AS LONG AS your typical, fine, upstandi...

Well, I've bitten the bullet and used my personal web space from my ISP, and it is back up and running! When I first created this cache I briefly toyed with this idea, but at that stage was a bit paranoid about anonymity issues. But now that the locals know me and I know them (sorta), and I've becom...

OK, I've hesitated making any comment, as I'm not a member of the Senate, but if this "cacher-still-in-diapers-noobie"'s opinion is worth anything, here it is: Wot Snuva and Lucy said, but with lots more comma's... definitely more comma's. And while keeping simple (I am simple) and maybe simplistic;...

Have I ever mentioned what a great and helpful bunch of people you are? Thanks for your great suggestions (and generous offer Papa Bear Left)! I now need to weigh up the options, relearn how to FTP, and track down the files I need (I've changed over computers since I made this cache, and now have to...
